My 7 Essentials Tips For Long Flights

Hola fam!! Today I’m sharing some of my in-flight essentials you can pack for a long flight that will help make your flight much more bearable and enjoyable.

It is important to start preparing for your long haul flight before you get to the airport to help relieve some of the stress and headaches of flying. Keep scrolling to find my long flight essentials.

  1. Baby Wipes & Hand Sanitizer- I love to use these to wipe down my area (tray, seats) and use for my hands when I’m ready to reach for some snacks. I like to carry hand sanitizer with me as well.

  2. Lip & Face Mask- Yup, airplanes are super dehydrating and having lip gloss on you at all times is VERY important. We wear masks now but that doesn’t man you can’t apply it in the bathroom and put your mask back on.

  3. Snacks & Water Bottle- I am a fan of snacking and I always make sure to take a protein bar, dark chocolate, and some type of nuts. That way you’re less likely to pay for overpriced airplane snacks and you’ll cut back on junk food. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

  4. Toothbrush & Toothpaste- There is nothing worse than having nasty breath on a flight (be considerate of your neighbor).

  5. Travel Pillow- Your list of essentials is not complete without a travel pillow.

  6. Sweater & Socks- it can get cold on the plane and having these cozy and warm pieces will make your flight that much more enjoyable.

  7. Book- I love a good book when I’m flying because it gives me something to do to pass the time if I don’t feel like watching a movie or TV show.

  8. Headphones- these are a must if you want to enjoy a movie, your music, or simple want to cancel out the noise on the plane.

  9. Pen - A pen is useful for filling out an departure or arrival cards. Plus, that way you don’t have to bother someone to let you borrow a pen.

I’m sure this list is different for everyone but having these items makes my life a little easier and my flight more enjoyable.

Thanks for stopping by!!
